Team effort leads to
Wesleyan victory over Roanoke Bible
Rocky Mount,
NC - Six
different players notched double figures and twelve dished
out assists as the North Carolina Wesleyan men's basketball
squad cruised to a 128-39 victory over Roanoke Bible College
on Tuesday night in Everett Gymnasium. The Bishops,
who shot over 60 percent from the floor in the game, even
their record at 2-2 with the victory and now set their
sights on this weekend's 2007 Roger Taylor Invitational.
Wesleyan raced out to a
58-18 halftime lead behind junior Adam Coleman's 16 points
in the period. The Bishops went on to score 17 of the
first 19 points in the second half, prompting head coach
John Thompson to get his reserves some court experience.
His bench responded as
Wesleyan's subs totaled 60 points on the night, led by
freshman Matt Dziagwa's 11 points on 4-of-8 shooting.
Lamont Stokes and Tobias Adams contributed 10 points apiece.

with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Junior Buddy Williams
added 14 points on 7-of-7 shooting, while Trey Drake and
Lenny Hall turned in 12 and 11 points, respectively.

For RBC, Steven Mills
netted 13 points and pulled down six boards.
