Kilby earns 100th career victory, ties all-time wins mark

Bridgewater, VA - With North Carolina Wesleyan's 6-0 victory over Bridgewater College on Saturday, head coach Jason Kilby has earned the 100th win of his Battling Bishop tenure, tying former coach Tony Ferrell for the most men's soccer coaching victories at NCWC. Kilby (pictured), who also boasts the highest winning percentage in program history, is currently 100-37-10 over his eight years with the Battling Bishops.

Wesleyan opened up a 3-0 halftime lead on first half goals by Michael Muhseler, Owen White, and Irvin Herrera in the 11th, 32nd, and 40th minutes, respectively.  Muhseler's gamewinner was assisted by Arkadiusz Trochowski.

In the second half, the Bishops tacked on three more goals on scores by White, Robert Ivanovich, and  Muhseler.  NCWC out-shot Bridgewater 31-2 on the day, and sophomore Benjamin Kruk earned the win in goal.

With the win, Wesleyan moves to 4-5-0 on the season. The Battling Bishops open up USA South play on Wednesday evening at Christopher Newport University. Game time is slated for 7:00 p.m.
