Fayetteville, NC - The USA South Athletic Conference has announced its preseason coaches polls for tennis, baseball, golf, lacrosse, and softball.  Wesleyan's highest billing came with men's tennis where the Bishops were picked to defend their 2010 regular season crown. In baseball, NCWC received one first place vote en route to a third place finish, and in men's golf, the Bishops were tabbed fifth. Fayetteville, NC - The NC Wesleyan Department of Athletics is pleased to announce that three Battling Bishop athletes have earned USA South Weekly accolades in their respective sports. Senior Brittany Insley of volleyball was named Player of the Week, while freshmen Kristin Seidel and Jack Gilbert were named Rookies of the Week in women's tennis and men's golf. more >

Fayetteville, NC - The Battling Bishop women's tennis team faired well at this past weekend's Methodist Fall Invitational, showing marked improvement en route to a 14-11 record in singles play. Wesleyan was led by freshman Kristin Seidel, who went 4-0 in singles action and won the "C" bracket championship.  All four of Seidel's wins were against USA South competition. more >
