Bishop golfers compete in St. Andrews Fall Invitational

Wagram, NC - The North Carolina Wesleyan men's golf squad was back in action on Monday and Tuesday in their third tournament of the fall, the St. Andrews Fall Invitational.  The two-day event was held at Deercroft Golf Course in Wagram, NC.  The Bishops were led by Steve Lee, who shot rounds of 81 and 76 to tie for 28th among the 44-man field.

Also competing for the Bishops were Christopher Crews (79-81) and Trevor Siebert (94-94).  Daniel Chewing shot an opening round 92 but withdrew in round two.

Mt. Olive College took home team honors with a two-day team total of 583 (289-294). The host Knights of SAPC finished fifth, while the Bishops failed to record a team score.

The Bishop men have now wrapped up their fall season and will return to action in the spring.
