NCWC golf finishes second at Bishop Fall Scrimmage

Whitakers, NC - The North Carolina Wesleyan golf team, led by first-year head coach Mark Cole, showed vast improvement in the team’s first fall scrimmage this past Saturday.  The five-team tournament was hosted by the Bishops at Hickory Meadows Golf Course in Whitakers, NC.  Wesleyan posted a team score of 314 to take second place, while Louisburg College took first after shooting a 304. 

Led by Dylan Bedy’s 75, the Battling Bishops' four freshmen all turned in solid rounds as John Tappan (78), Todd Smith (79), and Cole Brantner (82) rounded out Wesleyan’s scoring.  The low round was posted by Surry CC’s Tommy Gilandy (71).
