Hall nets 33, Wesleyan downs Florida Christian 116-87

Kissimmee, FL - Junior guard Lenny Hall scored a season-high 33 points on Monday night, leading his North Carolina Wesleyan men's basketball squad to a 116-87 win on the road at Florida Christian.  Wesleyan forged a commanding 63-38 advantage at the break and did not look back en route to the 29-point victory.  The win snaps a four-game losing streak for the Bishops, who are now 5-7 on the season.

Hall tied the second highest record for free throws made in a game by knocking down 17-of-18 at the charity stripe on the night.  He was joined in double figures by Trey Drake with 18 and Jarvis Cobb with 16.  Sophomore forward Sharard Carmichael turned in the team's lone double-double with 10 points and an impressive 15 rebounds.

Jay Baachaus paced Florida Christian with 29 points, knocking down eight three-pointers in the contest.

Wesleyan opens up USA South action on Saturday when the Bishops host Shenandoah University at 4:00 p.m. in Everett Gymnasium.  Saturday will serve as Alumni Day.
