Three Bishop
athletes earn
Academic
All-District honors

The
North Carolina
Wesleyan Department
of Athletics is
pleased to announce
that three Battling
Bishop athletes have been named to
their respective ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA
Academic All-District
Teams. Junior
Mikey Case and
sophomore Meredith
Hester of women's
soccer, along with
senior Kyle Kuhn of
football, were each
honored in District
3.
Case started 16 games at
defender for the
Wesleyan women's soccer
team this fall. A
native of Bolivia, NC,
she is double-majoring
in Psychology and
Mathematics.
Hester was an Honorable
Mention All-Conference
forward for the Bishops,
tallying nine goals and
three assists on the
season. An
Exercise Science major,
she hails from Reston,
VA.
Finally, Kuhn has helped
anchor the offensive
line for the Blue & Gold
football team, starting
every game this season.
He is product of
Clayton, NC and is
majoring in History.
To be nominated, a
player must be at least
a sophomore academically
and have a cumulative
grade point average of
at least a 3.2 on a 4.0
