White tabbed USA South men's soccer Rookie of the Week

Fayetteville, NC - The North Carolina Wesleyan Department of Athletics is pleased to announce that freshman Owen White of men's soccer has earned USA South Rookie of the Week accolades on the pitch. White helped Wesleyan to a 1-0-1 mark last week, including a 3-3 tie with Christopher Newport that secured a runner-up finish for the 13-3-1 Battling Bishops.  This is White's second award of the season.

White, a freshman forward from Stockton, England, totaled one goal and two assists for four points last week. In a 3-0 victory over Lebanon Valley, he scored Wesleyan's second goal and assisted on its third. In a 3-3 double overtime tie against CNU, White assisted on the Bishops' second goal.
