ATHLETIC TRAINING FACILITIES

North Carolina Wesleyan College opened its doors to a new athletic training room in the fall of 2004.  It is located in the new varsity field house situated between the soccer field and baseball field.  The new facility (pictured left) is equipped with whirlpools, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation units. 

The training room is also equipped with five state-of-the-art taping stations, treatment tables, and hydrotherapy and rehab areas.  
 

The North Carolina Wesleyan athletic training staff also uses the sports medicine facility located in Everett Gymnasium (pictured right).  The primary use of this room is for men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, volleyball, tennis, and golf.  The athletic training room in Everett Gymnasium consists of a treatment/ rehabilitation area, as well as a hydrotherapy area.
