Bishop netters continue solid play with 3-1 win at Salem

Winston-Salem, NC - The Battling Bishop volleyball squad won its second straight contest on Wednesday night, downing Salem College on the road by a 3-1 score (30-11, 28-30, 30-22, 30-10).  Wesleyan has now won three of its last four and six of its last eight matches to move to 8-5 on the season.

Senior Caitlin George turned in 44 assists, while sophomore Brittany Insley had a solid all-around performance with 15 kills, 17 digs, and six blocks.  Sydney Bens and Kelly George chipped in five service aces and 17 digs, respectively.

The Bishops return to conference play on Saturday when they travel to Greensboro College.  NCWC will face Mary Baldwin at 1:00 p.m. before taking on the host Pride at 3:00 p.m.
