performance on Saturday
afternoon, leading her Lady
Pride to a 108-54 victory
over visiting North Carolina
Wesleyan in USA South
basketball action.
Humphrey connected on
17-of-24 shots from the
field, including 6-of-10
from beyond the arc.
With the win, Greensboro
improves to 16-6 overall,
9-2 in the USA South. The
Bishops are now 4-17 on the
season, 1-10 in league
action.
A pair of
Jamie Motsinger free-throws
with 9:28 remaining in the
first half of action gave GC
a double-digit lead
throughout the remainder of
the contest.
Leading
49-30 at the break, the
Pride extended their lead to
70-40 with 12:40 remaining
in the game on a
three-pointer by Humphrey.
GC would push the lead to a
game-high 54 points with the
final basket.
Other
Pride players reaching
double figures in scoring
included Jamie Motsinger
(19), Chelsea Thomas (13),
and Amoria Bird added 12
points. Bird also
pulled down six boards.

to lead the Bishops,
knocking down four attempts
from behind the arc. Lawanda
Scott and Shameika Faircloth
added 13 and 11 points,
respectively, while Scott
completed the double-double
with 10 rebounds.
Greensboro shot a blistering
62 percent from the field
compared the Bishops 32
percent accuracy.
Wesleyan
continues USA South play on
Monday when the Bishops
travel to Methodist College.
