Bishop runners compete at Salem Invitational

Winston-Salem, NC - The North Carolina Wesleyan cross country squad traveled to Winston-Salem this past Saturday to compete in the second annual Salem College Invitational.  The Bishops were led for the second straight race by freshman Juliana Richardson, who finished the 5K race with a team-best time of 28:06.  The meet featured 51 runners among seven teams.

Clare Egan of Wellesley College earned medalist honors with a time of 19:22, the only time below 20 minutes.  Wellesley also took first place as a team with 15 points.  The Bishops finished seventh with 182 points.
