NCWC women's soccer wins second straight with 6-0 shutout

Washington, D.C. - The North Carolina Wesleyan women's soccer team won its second straight game on Sunday, downing Trinity University by a 6-0 score on the road.  The win is the third in four games for the Bishops, who are now 3-2-1 on the season.  Junior Eva Benavides (pictured) paced Wesleyan with her first two goals of the season.

Reva McCloud, Megan Kintner, Rachel Rosenbarker, and Janette Davidson also notched goals for the Bishops, who outscored their opponents 16-0 over this weekend's two-game road trip.

Sophomore goalie Bryanne Godfrey earned the win and shutout in goal.

The Bishops return to USA South play on Wednesday when they travel to Greensboro College for a 4:00 p.m. match-up with the Pride.  Wesleyan is currently 1-1-0 in league play.
