Wesleyan women fall at Hamilton College, 8-0

Clinton, NY - Seven different players scored goals for Hamilton College as the Continentals defeated North Carolina Wesleyan by an 8-0 score at Love Field on Sunday.  Nicole Tetreault tallied two goals and an assist for the Continentals, who remain undefeated at 3-0-0 on the season. The Battling Bishops are now 1-2-0 overall.

MacKenzie Pelletier scored one goal and added two assists for the Continentals. Anne Graveley, Katie Mann, Erica Dressler, Kendra Wulczyn, and Lauren Farver added one goal each.

The Bishops managed only three shots, all of which were saved by HC's Kate Fowler. Fowler and Caitlin McGilley combined to earn Hamilton its second shutout this year.

North Carolina Wesleyan used three goalkeepers to combine for eight saves, led by Sarah Hess with four. Hamilton held a 34-3 advantage in shots.

Wesleyan returns to action next Saturday and Sunday when they host their first NCWC Women's Fall Classic.  The Bishops will open up USA South play against Meredith College on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. followed by a game with Salem at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
