Welcome Employers! North Carolina Wesleyan College was chartered on October 25, 1956. Wesleyan is a private four-year, coeducational college of the liberal arts and sciences located in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Approximately 800 students are enrolled in the traditional program at the Rocky Mount campus. Another 1,000 students attend the evening college program at sites in Rocky Mount, Goldsboro, Durham, and Raleigh. The Internship and Career Services Center (ICSC) at North Carolina Wesleyan College complements the academic program of the College. The ICSC assists students in their professional development and serves as a resource to students, faculty, and you, as a part of the business community. INTERNSHIP PROGRAM By emphasizing hands-on learning as an important tool for developing a career path that ultimately leads to successful and satisfying full time employment, the ICSC helps students realize their career goals. As an Internship Supervisor in the Internship Program, you too will play a role in the process. The information on this site is intended to give you an understanding of that role as well as that of the ICSC, Wesleyan faculty sponsor, and student intern. CAREER FAIRS North Carolina Wesleyan is a member of ENCCA, a consortium of nine eastern NC private liberal arts colleges who sponsors an annual career fair at the McKimmon Center in Raleigh, NC. Open to students and alumni of member schools only. The next ENCCA Career Fair will be held on February 18, 2009. Click here for more information. ENCCA will also host a Non-Profit Job Fair on March 27, 2009 at Peace College in Raleigh, NC. If you are interested in participating in this fair please email jwarren@ncwc.edu. ONLINE JOB LISTINGS The ICSC also maintains online job listings that are viewed by students, alumni, and College faculty and staff. If you would like to have a full or part-time position posted please email the complete job announcement to jwarren@ncwc.edu. This service is provided free of charge. The ICSC also encourages students to utilize NACELink to search and apply for jobs. This service is free for our students to access but there is a charge for employers who would like to post jobs.
