Guinn sets new Bishop cross country record at Hagan Stone

Greensboro, NC - The North Carolina Wesleyan cross country squad competed this weekend at the Hagan Stone Invitational  in Greensboro, NC.  With only one meet remaining before the season-ending USA South Championship, the Bishops showed significant improvement as each runner ran her season-best time.  Leading the way was freshman Kaitlyn Guinn, who completed the 5K course in 25:02 and set a new Bishop record.

Not far behind Guinn was freshman teammate Juliana Richardson at 25:11.  Allie Stylc (25:48), Stephanie Branch (29:59), and Jessica Pollard (30:17) rounded out the Bishops scorers.

Next up for the Bishops is a dual meet with Chowan University on October 17th.
