Fayetteville,
NC
- The USA South Athletic Conference
has announced its All-Conference
awards for cross country. While the
Bishops did not place a runner on
the All-Conference squad, Wesleyan
is pleased to announce that
sophomore Juliana Richardson was
named to the inaugural
All-Sportsmanship team. Richardson
(pictured), a native of nearby
Roanoke Rapids, has been the
Battling Bishops’ lead runner all season
entering Saturday's USA South
Championship.
Christopher Newport University swept
all the individual categories as Amy
Wampler and Edith Nault were named
Runner and Rookie of the Year,
respectively. For the fifth
consecutive year, Christopher
Newport coach Keith Maurer was
selected as both the men's and
