Battling Bishops drop 9-4 decision to High Point University

Rocky Mount, NC - The Battling Bishop club lacrosse team dropped a 9-4 decision to Division I High Point University on Saturday at Scalf Field. Senior goalie Ashley Fletcher (pictured) kept Wesleyan in the match by making nine saves, while senior Lauren Stearns tallied three goals and an assist. Wesleyan club lacrosse falls to Ferrum in opener, 11-4

Ferrum, VA - North Carolina Wesleyan's club lacrosse squad opened its season on Thursday afternoon with an 11-4 loss on the road at Ferrum College. Senior Lauren Stearns (pictured) and junior Sarah Matulich each recorded two goals and an assist for the Battling Bishops, while senior Ashley Fletcher recorded nine saves in goal. more >

Walters to head NC Wesleyan women’s lacrosse program

Rocky Mount, NC - The North Carolina Wesleyan Department of Athletics is pleased to announce that Ramona Walters has been chosen as head coach of its women’s lacrosse program. A product of St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY, Walters spent last season as an assistant coach with her alma mater, as well as an assistant coach at Corcoran High School. more >
