Raleigh, NC - The Pacers of Peace College recorded a doubles sweep to take a quick 3-0 lead over North Carolina Wesleyan on Wednesday afternoon, and the Bishops would not recover en route to a 6-3 loss in USA South women's tennis action.  Wednesday's match was the conference opener for both teams.  NCWC is now 1-1 overall, 0-1 in league play, while the Pacers are 1-4 on the season, 1-0 in conference action.

Wesleyan's Jenna Gollub and Crystal Lashley moved to 2-0 in singles play with wins over PC's Lliza Bridgers and Deneshia Craven at the first and sixth slots, respectively.  Gollub was a three-set winner (4-6, 6-3, 6-1), while Lashley breezed to a straight set victory (6-2, 6-0).
