The Bishop men's and women's tennis teams play their home matches at the North Carolina Wesleyan Tennis Complex located on the NCWC main campus. 

Thanks to the generous gifts of alumni, the state-of the-art facility houses six  courts that are equipped with full lighting to accommodate nighttime play.  The facility is surrounded by chain link fencing.

The courts were built in honor of all Wesleyan students who died while attending the college, including a number of Vietnam veterans who gave their lives in service to their country.

NCWC has a young, but fast growing, tennis program. The 1999 season was the first time in the institution’s history that a Women’s Tennis Team competed. 

Also in 1999, the Men’s Team retook the courts after an eleven-year hiatus.  The College hopes to build its tennis program to a solid contender within the USA South.
