Profs force a deciding game two with 2-0 win over NC Wesleyan

Behind a four-hit shut-out by hurler Ryan Kulik, the Profs of Rowan
University forced a deciding game two with host North Carolina
Wesleyan. The winner of the South Regional’s Game 11 will earn their
ticket to the Division III World Series in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Rowan scored a run in the first and one in the fourth for the 2-0 final. Bruce Reibis collected the game’s first RBI with a two-out single in the opening frame, while a fielding error by the Bishops allowed the Profs’ second run to cross, unearned.
Kulik (7-3) went the distance for the second time in the tournament and did not allow a runner past second. He walked none and struck out five.
NCWC’s Ben Pearson (3-3) was nearly as impressive and took the tough loss in a complete game effort. He scattered eight hits, allowed just one earned, and struck out seven.
