Wesleyan completed a regular season sweep over the Shenandoah
men's basketball team on Tuesday evening with a 79-71 USA
South victory in Shingleton Gymnasium. The Battling Bishops
(10-9, 6-1 USA
South) now hold a 1.5 game lead over the second place
Hornets (8-13, 5-3) in the
race for the league crown.

Behind a season-high 35 points
by senior Jarmel Arrington,
the Battling Bishop men's basketball team won their fourth
straight contest on Wednesday night, downing Ferrum by a
100-90 score on the road. Arrington (pictured) connected on
12-of-16 shots from the floor and 5-of-7 attempts from
behind the arc in helping the Bishops even their overall
record at
9-9 on the season. More importantly, Wesleyan remains in
sole possession of first place in the USA South with a 5-1
mark midway through the Bishops' league slate.
