Mount, NC - Freshman Deng Abiel scored in the 42nd minute off
an assist from Quinton Hurdle as Greensboro College
defeated Methodist University, 2-0, in the USA South Championship
Match at Scalf Field on Saturday. With the win, GC advances to its 13th
NCAA Division III men's soccer tournament in the past 14 years. It's
also the third straight year The Pride has won the tournament under
Coach Bill Brady. On each occasion, Greensboro has done so on a neutral
field or as the visitors. GC keeper
