Wesleyan honors 2007-2008 athletes at awards ceremony

Rocky Mount, NC - The North Carolina Wesleyan Department of Athletics honored its 2007-2008 athletic teams and student-athletes on Monday night, April 21st, in the Dunn Center. Major awards of the night went to Athletes of the Year Matt Smith and Ashlee Bass, while Kyle Kuhn and Libby Fulford were named Student-Athletes of the Year. The program also featured the 1st Annual Wesley Awards that highlighted both team and individuals accomplishments, followed by a highlight video featuring all 12 Battling Bishop squads.

In addition to the major awards, each sport presented three individual awards:  the Mo Bauer Sportsmanship Award, the Scholar-Athlete Award, and Most Valuable Player.  Below are all of Wesleyan's 2007-2008 award winners, as well as Wesley recipients.
