This event is being held to honor our hometown hero, Captain Christopher S. Cash, who died in service to his country in Iraq. Proceeds from the race will go into a scholarship fund in his honor. For more information about "Operation Hometown Heroes" please click here or on the logo below:

Last year, in the second year of this race, the race drew 380 entries, making it Greenville’s largest race. William Christian (51:41) and Gina Witcher (1:04:12) were the overall winners in the 10 miler. Blake Roberson (16:43) and Christine Reaser (19:29) took top honors in the 5K.

Both races begin at 2 p.m. and the certified courses are described as “flat and fast.” Both races start and finish at the Town Commons in Greenville. Both races will be timed using the ChampionChip.

Packet Pickup

Pre-registered runners can pick up their packets and late entrants can register at Omega Sports on December 1st from 3-6 p.m.or on race day at the Greenville Town Common (start/finish area) beginning at 12:30 p.m.
