The Decree The Decree has been serving the Wesleyan community since 1960. All members of the Wesleyan community are invited to join the Decree staff and, whether on staff or not, to submit their words for publication in our community newspaper.  The Decree advisor, Dr. D. Kaye Campbell, researches and publishes national internships and scholarships available in journalism and collaborates with Ms. Walters in the Office of Internships and Career Services to find off-campus sources for practical training in journalism. She also proctors the Dow Jones Journalism Exams for all students interested in applying for Dow Jones internships or scholarships. Requirements for a minor in Journalism: ENG 207; 208; 209; 318 or 319; one upper-level writing course; one upper-level literature course.
