The Religious Studies Major

A Major in Religious Studies involves a minimum of 27 semester hours (nine courses) in Religous Studies. These will include Religion 101 or 115 (introductory courses) and a minimum of three semester hours each in

Biblical:

Religion 201, 202, 320

Historical:

Religion 220, 325, 326, 309

Systematic:

Religion  402, 427

Ethical-Cultural:

Religion 220, 340, 401

Students interested in majoring in Religious Studies should ask a faculty member in the discipline to work with them as academic advisor.
