HATE CRIMES

    Hate crimes, or bias-motivated crimes, happen everyday. Hate crimes can happen to anyone at any time. Most hate crimes that happen don't even get reported. What causes people to do hate crimes? Are there just evil people out in the world that want to torture people and make their lives hell, or are there reasons behind someone's mischief? There are many reasons why but how many causes are there that pushes someone to commit crimes of hate. I plan to see if people have causes behind their actions or are there mean people living life just on reaction.

LITERATURE REVIEW

    That’s how it should be. People fearing the punishment they could receive for committing a bias act or hate crime will let a lot more situations past them by inside instead of harming someone because the penalty should be a real strict one.

    Watts, M.W. (2001) Aggressive youth cultures and hate crimes: The American Behavioral Scientist. Vol. 45 Iss. 4 pg. 600 This article talks about bias crimes happening not just in America but over in Germany as well. Watts states that it involved influences from right-wing skinheads and neo-Nazis groups. It doesn’t matter where you are or where you’re from hate crimes can happen anywhere their racial people.
