Wesleyan’s Title III Grant Comes to a Close

Fall 2005 marks the ending of Wesleyan’s five-year, $1.75 million Title III grant, the largest grant of its kind received in college history. Awarded in 2000, the grant has helped strengthen Wesleyan as an institution by coordinating and funding strategies to increase student retention and success through improvement of academic programs and faculty development. In summer 2005, North Carolina Wesleyan College held a faculty seminar in applying critical thinking into the classroom.
