Wesleyan Summer Faculty Development


In summer 2004, North Carolina Wesleyan College held a faculty seminar in applying critical thinking and information technology into the classroom. The seminar, sponsored by Title III, came as part of the College’s annual effort to encourage faculty to enhance some aspect of their teaching, especially within courses from either the general education and/or lower level curricula. Wesleyan to Purchase WebCT

In recent years, Wesleyan has increased its technological infrastructure by purchasing CampusCruiser and WebAdvisor, tools that have promoted greater interaction and quicker communication among members of the college community. In summer 2004, the College signed an agreement to purchase WebCT, a web-based management tool for delivering online instruction and supplementing traditional classroom instruction.  With the purchase, Wesleyan has hit for the cycle, for integrating technology-based resources into the instructional process.  More ....


Wesleyan Announces Multimedia Upgrades to Classroom

Student Support Services Reports Successes

One of the goals of Wesleyan’s Title III grant is to improve student retention and academic success by developing key programs through the Student Support Center. Over the 2003-2004 academic year, several of these programs have helped a significant number of Wesleyan students find greater achievement in the classroom.
