Wesleyan Announces Multimedia Upgrades to Classroom

In summer 2005, North Carolina Wesleyan College converted Braswell Hall classroom 235 and Pearsall classrooms 274 and 278 into multi-purpose lecture/presentation classrooms. Newly renovated, all three classrooms are equipped with

·         An instructor multimedia work station

·         A NEC ceiling-mounted LCD projector

·         A Dell computer, featuring CD-RW & DVD-ROM

·         A projection screen

·         Classroom speakers

·         A Panasonic VCR

·         Cable TV hookup

These renovations come as part of the college’s Title III five-year initiative to develop and improve Wesleyan’s multi-purpose teaching facilities and increase student access to technology. The completion of these renovations brings the total number of Wesleyan classrooms that have received multimedia upgrades to fifteen, nearly 58% of the College’s total number of classrooms.
