  Writing Lab Online Submission Form

 

Submit your paper to the Writing Lab by carefully and completely filling out the information requested on this form. The Writing Lab staff will respond to your paper in 24-48 hours. Allow yourself enough time to use our service and make revisions before the paper is due. Be patient upon submitting your request. It may take up to a few minutes for you to receive a confirmation that we have received your request. This delay is caused by the NCWC server as it filters out your email from unwanted spam. Once you see the confirmation message, there is no need for resending your request.

This service is designed to provide help for students who cannot come to the Writing Lab to work face-to-face with staff to improve their writing. With the goal of developing writers' skills first and their papers second, Writing Lab staff will provide written feedback on submissions--suggesting ideas, asking questions, and pointing out which matters do and do not seem clear. However, staff will not edit submitters' papers, something that we see as the students' responsibility. While we will not fix errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and language use, we will point out the existence of such errors if asked to do so.
